First of all let me say this. You speak English far better than some who only know English. You have nothing to worry about with that.

You clearly have a low self esteem. I have had this most of my life and it is a very big obstacle to overcome. We are truly our own worse enemy. When we don't believe we can do something....makes no difference what it is....we are right....not because we can't but because we won't. If we believe we can......know in our heart that we can do this.....we almost always will.

No one on this planet does everything right all the time. We all fail at something. There is only one way to prevent that and that is not to try.

From the little you say here I can see that you are far more capable than you think you are. English is your second language and you do this well. Very good. I indeed wish I knew even one other language.

You say you are good with the studies. I have no doubt you are right and all you need to do is stop worrying. Say to yourself okay this is the next step....I will get past this and then worry about the next one.

Ask yourself this. Evey time you have worried about something how did it turn out. My guess is it came out fine. All the worry for nothing. That will always be that way.

I once had a performance review coming up at work and I didn't feel good about my accomplishments. I worried so much that while attending a soccer game with my son....normally a wild and crazy time....I was hardly there. Everyone else were on their feet most of the time and it all meant nothing because I worried so much.
The performance review? One of my best ever.

Tell yourself what is the worse thing that can happen you should fail? If you answer that truthfully you will see it is never all that bad. You just step up and try again. Trying to get into college is never a one time forever thing. You can always try again. But I think you have no worries....I really do.

People who fail are the ones that think they know it all. So they don't prepare and that always means you may fail at anything you do. You will never do that so you have to know you will be fine.

You are a long way from being stupid. I can see that just from what you say here. The only real problem you have is how you perceived yourself. Concur that negativity and you will do anything you want to.

At least you recognize that your negative thinking is probably untrue and that it will hurt your progress. You've come a long way already! Keep telling yourself positive things (your mind can't hold 2 opposing thoughts at once, so the positive will cancel out the negative).

As for reaching your goal, there are no guarantees in life. However, if you avoid negative thinking, your chances will be MUCH greater!

Good luck!

you are just afraid of failure, that's why you tell your self those things, so when it does happen you say "I knew it". Never doubt yourself, start doing little exercises and use positive words. Every morning look your self in the mirror for one minuet and say positive stuff about yourself. Like: "I am smart. I will pass that exam.stuff like that. And instead of saying I hope i pass that exam start saying I am going to pass that exam. Believer me these little things help a lot.

the first thing u can do is stop thinking of the bad stuff or things about ur self and start thinking about the good stuff in u and stick them in ur head. believe in ur self have confidence in ur self. for example. ur english is pretty well why do u put in mind that u can't speak english. if u believe in what u can do u will surely get to ur goal. and don't worry everything comes step by step.
good luck.

If you say that you are not that bad, and do quite well at exams, the effort won`t be unbearable. In every aspect of life, some degree of effort is necessary.
Yes, try to be more positive and breed your self-esteem.
