I'm looking for great places that are very beautiful, not super touristy and would be perfect to pop certain questions. Someplace that would make a great story to tell people and of course unforgettable. I will be traveling to Japan in April 2007. Thanks!

♡How about a Tokyo Bay dinner cruise? Or better yet, sunset cruise?
The scenery is absolutely beautiful and very romantic.
If you plan to 'pop the question' you can possibly arrange for them to bring a single red rose with the main course and then instead of her desert- the ring box on a plate surrounded by chocolate hearts- you may want to bring these yourself... (Of course she'll get her desert as well!) You can drink delicious wine or spring for a bottle of champagne after it all to toast your future together. Take a stroll along the deck after dinner and enjoy the fantastic night lights of Tokyo Bay while you chat about your bright future together.\(^∇^)/

...Just a thought.
Either way, it's a wonderful experience!

The possibilities are endless. Lots of beautiful places here in Japan!
Hope this helps.♡

Cheery Blossom time! The forecast for cherry blossom flowering (sakura kaika-yosou) is announced by Japan Meteorological Agency every year at the beginning of March. My best suggestion is to look up some spots to pop the question. You might even get into a Cherry Blossom Festivial is you get there at the right time.

Try the parks Sumida Koen or Ueno Onshi Koen. Shinjuku Gyoen is a garden and both Yasukuni Jinja and Asakusa Sen-soji are temples. Sumida Koen is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo. The park has about a 1-kilometer row of trees along the Sumida river on the side of Taito-ku. There are about 1000 cherry blossom trees, and it's one of the best places for cherry blossom viewing in Spring.

nicely i might surely think of so. I mean its a stunning and amazing place incredibly if its new to you. Doing something out of the norm has a tendency to be beautiful to maximum folk. One place this is maximum romantic is the Enoshima Island its crammed with Illuminations, and the view of the sea coast is so romantic at night. Enoshima observatory lighthouse and gardens are superbly illuminated, and particular mild shows are hung on weekends and holiday journeys.

Unforgettable - Top of mount Fuji. Been there!

Romantic - small hidden restaurant in Shimokitazawa

Unforgettable & romantic - Top of the world at Tokyo City View in Roppongi Hills. The night lights are breath taking.

You had better plan for some place indoors because it rains a lot in April & the weather is quite unpredictable!

Cherry blossoms are in March, they are all gone by April. So forget that idea!

You should consider going to the island of Guam instead. It is only 3 hours by plane from Japan, it's an American island and it is beautiful warm weather (like Hawaii) all-year round. Why anyone would want to vacation in Japan instead of Guam, is a mystery!

Maybe you can try Hakone or Kyoto for the great scenery.
