I've never worn it before, I've tryed but it didn't work, so what should I get??

Since you're a first timer, I do not recommend a total liquid eyeliner. Instead, you should opt for a soft eye pencil. I recommend MAC or Yves Saint Laurent which is what I use but if you want to skip the price tag, Rimmel works just as well.

I would recommend a pencil liner cause you have to have a steady hand for liquid liner. But if you want results like the liquid liner, melt the tip of your pencil liner with a lighter for a second, let it cool off for a second then apply carefully. It *should* stay for hours without re-applying.

Instead of using eyeliner, go to the MAC counter and ask to have them show you how to use eyeshadow like eyeliner instead.
They will show you how to wet a brush, put it in eyeshadow, and draw the line. It doesn't run, and it is really much easier.

If you want a dramatic look get liquid. If you want pretty natrual eyes get a pencil. Don't get black unless you want to look dramatic

pencil liner very good and try find waterproof as it lasts longer

i would suggest the newest chisel liner... you can get that wide awake look very easy... look well rested even when you are not... its great and it lasts long... hope it helps...
