Your favourite singer came for a one night performance and you couldn't go? I live in S'pore and just recently my favorite singer, Ryan Star came by at a club called Zouk. Unfortunately, they have age restrictions so I couldn't go since I'm only 13. I felt so disappointed, you guys ever felt that way?

A note to Katie,
This is the default avatar for Yahoo! Answers, I can't help it if it's a man.. So what if I happen to be too lazy to change it? That dosen't make me interested in men, duh!

Yes, when I was about that age, the Cure campaign to Dallas and my folks wouldn't let me go. I got over it, eventually. The next time they came through I went in a big way.

It still happens. A lot of great music comes through Austin, but if they don't start playing early enough for me to get home at a decent hour on a work night, I have to pass. I sucks. For a really good band, I WILL take the next day off.

Yes, we live overseas and a few months back one of my favorite singers came here to entertain at the Military base, and I couldn't go because two of my children were so sick! We just couldn't leave them when they were that ill.

It does feel unfair. A few years will fix it. There are things you can do at 13 that you can't do later - concentrate on those - always enjoy the present.
When you look back, you will have had a good life!

Yes I have felt that way but keep in mind you are 13 so you will have several years ahead of you to be able to see lots of your favorite musical performers. Chin up!
