Why do you think he is having an affair? Did he ask you why in the world you would even think that he was having an affair? Did he walk away? Did he look you in the eye when he laughed? You have a reason for asking. Just keep in mind men lie and call it just friendship!!!! Keep your eyes open and your ears open. Watch for the signs of cheating. There is something going on or you would not have ask the questions. Just make sure you document everything so you have proof the next time you ask.

Not always, but usually - women 'feel' something is wrong. And despite what guys say --oh haha honey that's crazy -- that feeling is usually right. What is it you feel that makes you suspect him?
Okay now stop being a chick for a minute in the world of female intuition (no offense) and move it from feelings into cold hard data. Check cell phone records. Credit card bills. The car odometer. Who does he call? Who does he spend money on? Where does his car go? If work is 15 miles away, that plus errands equals 40 miles a day. If every Tuesday and Thursday he logs 110 miles, that's something. Call the numbers on the cell phone bill. See who answers. If he hides the bill, order a copy from your cell phone carrier. Walk in and get one. Have them mail it to your work. Look it up online. Look at the VISA bill. What are those charges to 1-800-FLOWERS you never got flowers from? Hmmm.
Don't let the fact that you have to DIG a bit make you seem creepy. You aren't. Either he is or he is not cheating. Tell him you might be crazy but you can't shake the feeling that he is seeing someone else. Then he has no cause other than guilt to be offended when you do your homework.
Men thinking with their peckers usually forget that they leave a trail of information in those forms and others as they follow their new trim to her love nest.
Hope it turns out to be wrong, but... good luck digging.

Well, if you are asking and are suspicious...there must be a reason, try to be more observant about his behavior, leaving at odd hours, staying out more than he used to, not eating at the house as much, having his phone on silent mode, going directly to the shower when he arrives home especially late at night, these are signs...so be warned...a laugh is hardly anything to go by...especially if he has a humorous or sarcastic personality.
Good luck.

i think he is, otherwise he would have been offended. start investigating now. why would he laugh at a question that is so serious especially when it involves your feelings and trust?

married men have different reaction when asked about this question. It would be best if you investigate and then probe him with the question.
