Or if you didn't understand that:

"Are peeps in US thickerer than over the wide blue sky on the floor?"
(If you understand that better, then you're American and need not answer)

They're not less intelligent that the rest of the world, it's just that a lot of American people don't care about the rest of the world and know nothing about it, and this is why a lot of people say they're stupid. But I think they are just unaware of the world around them, and it's not a cliché, I say it because I've spoken to a lot of American people who ddidn't even know for example when Iraq is, when they've been on war with this country for more than three years.

Something else typical of American people is that most of them don't speak any foreign language and expect everybody, everywhere they go, to speak English. And although it's true that everywhere you go you'll find easily people who speak English, it's still better to speak the local language, people will find you more friendly and will be more friendly to you.

But this all doesn't make American people less intelligent than the others, I think they just need to open up.

I don't believe Americans possess less inborn intelligence just that they possess a greater reluctance to use it.

I am an American and I am not offended by your question. I am often amazed at the lack of reasoning I see in my fellow humans. I do not say this as an insult but as an observation. I believe it has to do with our school system in the United States and the general feeling of most American parents that everything taught must be taught at schools. American children mostly reach school age unable to read or in many cases even unable to count or say the alphabet. As soon as the children are entered in formal schooling most American parents step back and see all teaching as the duty of the school system.

No, every country has a intelligence profile that you can plot like a Bell curve. All countries have all kinds of people - intelligent, dumb, and in between. Americans get the most Nobel prizes but many Americans can't even find New York City on the US map. However, videos like this perpetuate the myth.

No. The truth is that there are just so many of them which is why you can always find extremes there such as women who collect tigers and men who are such brilliant entrepreneurs.

If you collect enough people in one place then you're going to find some stupid ones. You're also going to find a lot of very normal reasonably intelligent people - but they're not so interesting to the media.

That depends on how you measure intelligence. IQ is a measure of whether you'd be a good psychologist. The average IQ in the USA (by definition) is 100. In the UK, it is 120. And before you get too smug, in India and Pakistan it is 125.

The vast majority of my countrymen are idiots.

Election results will bear me out on this.

For those of us with some degree of intelligence, this is both an embarassment and an opportunity.

What a reckless accusation unless you have an intelligent idea to propose to support it.
