You may have what is called endometriosis - it's a condition where uterine tissue grows in places other than the uterus, and it can cause very painful periods with extreme cramping.
I have this, and what has worked for me is going on the pill continuously - I don't take the sugar pills so that I don't have periods anymore. This has made my life a lot easier; before, cramping was so bad that I would have to take sick days because I physically couldn't get out of bed.
In terms of a short-term fix, maybe the school nurse would let you rest in his/her office? If you've already taken advil/midol, there's probably not much else you can do. Good luck!

i agree with that courtney said, my mom has endometriosys too, she has to be on the pill non-stop too (no sugar pills). she never knew it was anything worse that horrible cramps either, and apparently had it since about age 19 and only found out in her 40's when she ended up needed a partial hysterectomy (funny thing - she wished they told her should could have had a full one so she would be done with the periods right then and there!!)
but it could just be bad clotting, which makes the cramping as your body is trying to force them out. drink lots of water. no more advil, if you can find it, take IBprofin (however thats spelled) because its a blood thinner, also, drink lots of water. have some chocolate too, thats got a natural pain killer in it. if you can, and this might not be possible since you're in school, exersize, it really will help.
when you get home, take a hot bath or grab a heating pad.

In real adult life, you won't be able to come home for every cramp. You will need to stay at work to bring home the paycheck.
Stick it out! Maybe excercises with stretching or meditating. I know caffeine will make it worse! Try cranberry juice instead, or OJ.
Your not wearing tight clothes are you? That can add on to more cramps.

go to the nurse and lie down, drink alot of water to calm your muscles. Don't overdo on the pain killers, you will eand up getting sick.
oh, and have the nurse call your mean mom, maybe then she will take you more seriously.
