It is very difficult for us that my husband has stage 4 cancer. To overcome this difficulty we remain positive in outlook, lead our lives as normally as possible, do as much as we can, and live each day as if it is our last ... because it could be. We spend time with our children and grandchildren, travel a little when we can. We refuse to allow our lives to be controlled by cancer. Our belief is "I am passing through life but once. Therefore, if there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again."
This may not be the type of difficulty you mean, but it is the only one that is real to us right now.

I have quite bad panic attacks, and it can be difficult for me to go out, to leave the house. There was a time a year or so ago when I would arrange my day so that I could plan an outing down to the nth degree and be back in the house a soon as possible.
it still isn't easy, but over the last few months I have made myself take risks, gone to places that I know I will find stressful, always made sure I know where exits in buildings are incase I need them, but I refuse to become a hermit and little by little I am learning how to manage the attacks so that when they happen I am prepared
