The book was about a girl in the hospital with a broken leg--as far as I can remember. I broke my leg when I was younger, and a relative bought the book for me. I remember really liking the book, and now a young relative of mine has broken her arm so I was looking for the same book to give to her. Any ideas or suggestions would be good. Thanks!

I'm not sure how old you were ... when I searched Amazon for girl with broken leg I got lots of teen stories. However, using the search Hospital they seem to be more for younger children. Aargh!

Why not try the site & put various words you remember from the story in the search & search under children's books - hopefully it will come up with the one that you remember. Good luck.

"Josephine's Adventures" by Irene Snell Winward. The girl is actually suffering from a rupture, but it's similar.
