You can only pray for those who are ignorant. If put into a confrontation, walk away. Every race in some way form of fashion is subjected to comments. Black White Asian Hispanic and multi-cultured. The most important thing is to remember we are all Americans and we should stick together more now than ever before. Most of the civilization people are dead or half way in the ground. Racism is a cycle of abuse that WE can choose to break. When it comes down to it we are all brothers and sisters when protection is need.

Remarks are made out of FEAR of the unknown. Uneducated folks or those who are rude, do so because they have no self esteem of there own. Therefore they take on a cause or movement that gives them a since of being a part of something. Sadly it does not have to be right or wrong. God Bless.

Sometimes people don't mean to be racist... if it's something like classifying between white and black it is not racist... it is just referring to the persons color of skin... If you're offended by something they said it's because you choose to be offended and you should take into consideration what the person was trying to say.. and if he or she was trying to be racist by going on and on about how your so different because of the way you look, or talk, or act tell them that they look different from you just the way you look different from them and that you're unique in your own way, everybody is and they shouldn't be going around making fun of people for the differences that they have from you when they have LOTS of differences from other ppl themselves...

Take the high road and make the racist look like an ogre. If you respond with, "Hey Honky Fool, I'm gonna bust you upside yo head!" you reduce yourself to his level.

It is an attention getter and your not reponding will make much more of an impact than giving the person what they want.

I think it is best just to not acknowledge them. Don't give the person the satisfaction of believing that what they have to say is of any significance.

That's an awful general question. It depends on where it happens, when, how often and by who. But in general just ignore them.

Ignore them. They do it for attention, so don't give them the attention they are trying to get.
