Have you seen Tittybangbang on bbc 3. They do a sketch which parodies the real "guests" on these show and it outlines the perfect reason why these shows bring down society as a whole. I think the real problem go something like this : Person watches show, Person starts suspecting spouse/relation of topic of show, Person attempts to get on the show and fails, Person needs counseling for the next 3 yrs for their jealousy and paranoia.
If all else fails you can always run down the street screaming...
SHE'S GOT A KNIFE!!!!!!

Oh yes, get this stuff off the telly and some work might get done, the fact that people find it entertaining is unreal! remove all such programming and interactive tv, the normal hard working public dont want the opinions of people that sit around doing nothing all day watching bad tv, I left the UK 10 years ago, and although i can get english tv where i live now, i refuse point blank to watch it durin the day on the account i might go mad!
Thats my rant for the day anyhow.

I believe that these stories are true and i know that Jeremy kyle is very qualified not like Vanessa who was totally fake but everyone has their own opinion also Tricia is ace at what she does, her and Jeremy have been through trauma in their lives so they started their own show to help others and they are not fake as recently a friend of mine appeared on Tricia .

Get them off my telly! Jeremy Kyle is the most patronizing, self righteous know it all ever to be given a TV show. There's only so many times he can do "paternity test results revealed", they must be running out of people with bad teeth and muffin tops to humiliate by now.

No, there wouldn't be a decrease in unemployment, I don't think people are stupid enough to not get a job because they want to watch Jeremy Kyle!
I always find them funny the people on there are so trampy

i was on a bus with loads of college equipment and 4 teenage mums with buggies and todlers came on and were yelling at me to get off the bus with my stuff as i was taking up too much room (never mind they had a pram each that took up even more space than me) and a really cute guy started talking to me and told me to ignore them and said that they should be home watching Jeremy Kyle. He made me laugh and it brightened up my day so long live Jeremy Kyle.

If these shows were taken off air, the streets would be overrun by sponging, council tenant, chip-eating, benefit cheat, single mothers wearing Diadora tracksuits, smoking Sovereign, wearing vile Elizabeth Duke "Clown Necklaces" and shagging mixed race youths in a bus stop, drinking Lambrini and eating 10p bags of cheese crisps. These poor girls would have nothing to do, and would then have to get off their fat, cellulite riddled arses and get a fvcking job, like the rest of us. Instead of drinking tea and smoking fags in groups of three or four at a dirty flat above a shop, waiting for one of the kids possible dads gets out of prison for knifing a doorman, while the 4 kids are at school, picking on the kids from proper families and giving head lice to my daughter!!

I love these shows because the people on them are so awful. They would not have you on the show if you were a normal person with a problem like - I can't find a dentist in my area, they always have people on who are going to shout, scream, argue and cry.
A couple of years ago a friend's daughter contacted one of these shows as she was constantly arguing with her father. Her parents were deluged with telephone calls from the show for them all to come on and "clear the air", that it was only after they threatened legal proceedings and pointed out that his daughter was under 16 that they finally dropped it.
Some people are coerced into appearing on the show, even if they don't want to.

Don't think pulling the plug an that trash'll decrease employment, there's plenty more trash for the unemployed & home-bound to watch BUT I think it might expediate the "getting out of bed & to lecture on time" process for students!!
