Dragon, You are my friend aren't you? Then I will Defend your honor! Yes, I worry about an online friend like any other friend, I try to let them know that I value and treasure them, that I really care, that I am here for them ANYTIME they need me! But alas, like real friends, I don't often have the timeto convey that as well as I would like. Friends understand that tho, That's part of being friends! Dragon, you are a valued friend.

I am a really good online friend! I will defend the honor of my online friends just as I would my real life friends, because to me friends me everything to me and if they're being harrassed or given a hard time. Of course I worry about what is going on outside of yahoo, because since the people mean a lot to me, I treat them as family and if something is wrong I'd do everything in my power to help them. Of course I tell them that I like them.

I try to be the best friend that I can be to those I call friend. That goes both for on line & off. I would defend any of my friends & I care about their health & safety. Often I tell them in words but more often I just try to remain a steady presence for my online friends. I guess I'm more of an action type than a talker type about my emotions.
Thanks & have a super day. ♥

Oddly enough, YES i treat my online friends with the same respect I give real life friends. I have many online friends that I have not ever met, nor do I ever plan on it, but they have conversations with me and discuss everything like real friends. THey treat me with respect and I do the same for them. If at any point they didn't, then they wouldn't be my friends anymore. I also worry about them when they are sick, and sometimes if I don't hear from them for a few weeks, I wonder if something bad happened. Online friends to me, are very important.

Cat tries very hard to be a good online friend. Cat makes an effort not to be too clingy to online friends, and open to other, new online friends, while not ignoring the old. Cat defends not only friends, but people she happens to admire who are not, per se, friends. (No other communications besides Y!A, I mean) Yes, Cat worries about her online friends. Some she is greatly concerned with, others, she just checks on... And yes, Cat is very verbal about her affection.
You're welcome.

Unfortunately I'm not online enough to really make friends but if so I would defend them just like a friend I have offline. Personally to me my friends are my handpicked family and luckily I have picked some that are more loving and caring than some of my own family.

If you have a friend, you will deal with him as a friend n matter an online friend or not.
you have to care about your friends, care about them means both (defend the honor of your online friends & worry about them and their health/safety.

1-Depends on your threshold of online friendship. There are people here I like and respect and enjoy, but does this limited format allow for "friendship" or just acquaintance?
2-yes.
3-yes.
4-While there are some I'd like to think of as friends, I don't want to presume that the feeling is mutual, so I guess I keep a certain distance.
