There are different types of interc. communication. The expression refers, first, to the communication between members of different cultures. But there are other meanings too. According to Deborah Tannen (1990:291), for example, communication between men and women is also intercultural.
Here's an idea. First, check the Web. Then, try to read Samovar´s book (450 p.). It´s excellent. It´s a collection of different articles by different authors. I'm sure you´ll find what you need.
