As far as I am aware, Child Maintenance is calculated on your earnings. I'd suggest getting in contact with the Child Support Agency maybe they be able to help!

i can help a little on this one have been going through this one with my boyfriend. the only way to reduce the cost is to go to court and show proof that you have a lower salary then what you originally showed and ask for a reduced pay until you can find a better paying job.hope this helps
