I think the best and most beautiful place to live in Texas is probably Plano. It is a fast growing city with alot of extras and is last on the list of crime.

Clearly the best place to live in texas is the bustling metropolis known as "Iowa Park". This little known gem in the north of Texas boasts a population of 1293 and it is in a steady increase. World-class shopping at the local Wal-Mart will entice you. After a fun-filled afternon of "speed bump wheelies", you can enjoy a fine dining experience a the local What-a-Burger.

Plano is a wonderful place to find lots of opportunity. I hail from the suburbs of the DFW area. myself (Arlington; to be specific).

But, in my opinion, there are better cities in Texas to live in. Of course, it always depends on what you are living for. I, myself, love music... it is my passion. Austin is the live-music capitol of the world. It is also my birthplace, so I have a strong affiliation.

But I would take up no objections to living in Plano for a few years. I remember when it wasn't much more than a dot on the map.

yeah, i cant stand plano. but that is my opinion, just like you are entitled to yours. if i had to pick, it would be fort worth or austin. but that is because i lived in both for quite some time and know them so well. right now i am trying houston on for size and deciding what that is like. maybe one day i will get around to plano and give it the opportunity to change my opinion of the place and people.

IMO it's Austin. The colleges provide a balance and the music scene is incredible. SXSW, Antone's and many more.
