I am an Air Force Wife. We live in Okinawa, Japan. We have been married for almost 2 years. I'd be more then happy to talk to you :) My name is Christina and I'm 21 (22 on Dec 3rd) and My husband is Austin 24 (25 on Feb 26, but he does not like to talk about that..lol) My yahoo id is dohm84@yahoo.com (email and chat name, fell free to e-mail me or IM me, you have to add me first cuz I don't take IM's from people not on my friends list.)

If your family isn't doing it for you ,, you should have stayed at base, then you would have had support and understanding of the other wives. My husband works over seas most of the year, i have been with him for 12 years and married to him for 7 years. It isn't easy and i talk to him often at least 2 hours a day some times. I am in Australia while he is in London, Italy , China, Brazil, Canada etc. I don't see him for months, i keep busy with friends (no they don't understand) but i make the most of what i have. Get a job even part time, a hobby might help a bit. I will tell you don't just sit there doing nothing time goes slower and days seem long. All the best chin up.

Hi, I understand what youa re going through. It's better when you can talk to someone that can relate to your situation. My loved on is in the Army and I won't see him until Christmas. It's a lonely road, specially during the holidays.

Being a Navy spouse , is a full time job itself. Be strong, at least you are surrounded by family and friends.... I'm stranded in the middle of nowehere and I have to family to talk to, It's hard, but the rewards are great.

Hang in there, you are not alone.

Best wishes

You can email me, just go to my profile if you would like to contact me ... YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!! : )

Be careful which military wives you are hanging with. Some of them end becoming hordes of drunk women who cheat on their husbands. If you hang out with these, sooner or later, you will do the same.
