I'm pretty sure that it's a fake. If you google "Most Haunted Fake", you'll find news articles abou the shows resident parapsychologist declaring Derek Acorah a fake, and how he has baited him with false information only to find Derek becoming "possessed" by the supposed "people" that he was told about. I think that Yvette Fielding is guilty of exaggerating too. She's always hearing something (that noone else hears, not even the camera) and screaming about it. I used to watch the show and believe in it too. I'm sure that some things are real, I just don't believe Derek Acorah anymore.

Actually, as it happens, Derek Acorah has been in the national press a while back and he spilled the beans on Most haunted. Apparently, he knows exactly where he's going so the locations can be researched fully, and according to him, all of the "possessions" he experienced were faked. Hope that helps. And for the record, I am a believer in the paranormal, and feel that alot of these so-called ghost hunting shows simply prey on the imaginations of the people who believe.

You are talking about when they did that live show on halloween rite? Well I saw the show too. The play they went wasn't that scary, or for that matter haunted. I beleave in this type of thig as well. I wasn't really convinced that the hotel was haunted. It really was kind of a let down because there were employees in the area that they were searching. But I have to say overall that it was kinda weird. I wouldn't rule out paranormal activity based on t.v. show. I would do some research and actually join a peranormal society so you can get a first hand account of some of this stuff.

I am a great believer of the paranormal, but i think most haunted is definately over exagerated and fake, Derek could be good at what he does but he's not very good at acting it out on a tv show, he just looks like he's an amateur actor. The show never looks realistic enough, if they discover something then show us!!!!

The programme is FAKE and Derek Acorah is the biggest showman around - its all done for the camera's. I'm not saying the paranormal is all fake - just him and that show xxx

Most real paranormal investigators would be thrilled if they came across just one genuine haunting or "Cold spot" over years of research. The muppets in that show have encounters every show whever they go. In short the program is produced by charletons; as fake as a £2.99 Rolex.

I think so. I mean they walk into a room and stuff happens. I don't know, to me it seems a little set-up. I prefer Ghost Hunters more, they seem a little more credible, at least they got the cagoonies to say/show that sometimes nothing happens, and not everything is haunted/paranormal. Most Haunted could walk into a room full of oranges, and that dude will pretend the oranges are talking to him.
