Wii Sports is not a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Game (Nintendo's line-up of online games like Mario Kart DS and Metroid Prime Hunters). Nintendo will not have online-ready games (those with the Wi-Fi Connection logo) for the Wii until sometime in 2007. Expect Super Smash Bros Brawl to be the first of the batch.

As far as Wii sports there's tennis, bowling, boxing, baseball and golf, but there are other games, like one that allows you to use the remote as a sword (The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess). A lot of games don't have much use for the mtion sensitivity of the controller though (Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, etc.)

No. No games that have online play are going to be released in 2006.
