Isn't it funny how you asked a simple queston and got so much hassle and thumbs down? Sorry, man. I feel where you were coming from. You asked because they say they're the party of Jesus Christ, morals, and religion and if you preach it, practice it. Beyond that they haven't done much. So that's why it should be a large responsibility of the party, people! If you're gonna use religion to your advantage, you better give something back!

Why is it Republican's responsibility to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ? That's why I go to church. I really don't think politicians, Democrat or Republican, are qualified to teach this particular topic.

Christ said to love your enemies. He further said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." The Republicans teach just the opposite of what Christ taught so the answer to this question is "Absolutely nothing!"

If you saw 60 minutes about a month ago you saw Bush's former Deputy director of faith based initiatives David Kuo talking about these programs, how they were only given a tiny fraction of the money promised
And how admin officials derided and made fun of the so called "religious wackos"
But what else would you expect from this white house.
They used those poor people

I doubt Jesus cares if one is a Republican/Democrat. Both parties have strong beliefs and both parties contribute to society and religion equally.

Not very much. But then that's not the purpose of the Republican party. It's not the purpose of the Democratic party either. And IF either one did would that be going against the seperation of Church and State?

I think posting 3 questions in 3 minutes is an attempt to 'squash' the viewing of the your opponents question. You're not fooling anyone. This is childish and foolish. You gain no respect when you do this. You're a liberal, that's clear, but where is your so-called 'tolerance' and 'understanding'. And where is your so-called 'belief and protection' of FREE SPEECH. Nice try.
