So, I am almost 15 year old female and my brother is almost 16 and I have been seeing him walk around the house with loose boxer shorts on and sometimes from the bathroom to his room naked! I have been able to see his privates ,.. I would like another girls or sisters point of view if this happened to them and how they handled it, without hurting there brothers feelings or relationship! and without telling my dad !

I am 14, and I got 4 brothers ages 8,10,13,18, 2 of which got bedrooms in the basement. We got a family room that boys wear shorts, not boxers but like gym shorts and do not walk around with their underwear on, I would tell your brother something like this, so you dont hurt his feelings, 'hey ur a good looking guy but it kinda embarasses me when u walka round naked since ur my bro" see if that works, if not suggest ur mom make a rule like we got in our house!!!!!!!!!

I have an older brother to, but he would never go around the house naked. Once he asked me to bring him some toilet paper and I handed it through to door with out looking. I would ask your brother to stop walking around the house naked ( you know what I mean ) and why don't you want to tell you dad now that puzzles me?/?? As for the boxer thing I would just say hay would you mind putting your legs together a little more or something cuz I don't want to see your stuff. If that doesn't work start talking about how small it is and he is sure to stop then especially if you start to tell your friends......

Well don't look....or ask him to put some shorts or sweats over his boxers. It isn't really a big deal, that happens with brothers and sisters. There were 4 girls and 1 boy all in one house when we were growing up.
I myself have 1 daughter and 2 sons....if you can't mention it to your brother then maybe you can talk to your mom since you don't want to involve your dad. Best of luck.

just feel,if he is a handicaped or autist , are you handle him in the same way like now. definately this feeling would not have risen, isn't it?
so it's all depends upon your point of view. if he intentionly show him, then that is wrong, just try to avoid him or warn him with pleasent words.Even if he is not listening then stop talking to him even infront of others. but don't tell about this to anybody. then he feel shame on him he may have the chance to correct himself,
try and get good relationship!!

Well, from a mothers point of view: my son walks around the house in his boxers infront of me and his sister and we dont care.
BUT if he was to start running from his room to the bathroom naked, I would probably say something. And if he started running around the house naked I would be horrified!
Say something to your brother, just tell him it makes you uncomfortable seeing his butt cheeks from the bathroom to his room. Tell him you know how small it is, then I guarantee he'll be putting pants on. GOOD LUCK!

I know how you feel...I am the only girl with 6 brothers. When we wree younger, they were always running around in less than they should have. I always just told them straight out...put on some more cloths, and when you are in your own room shut the door. I did the same thing, that way there was no risk of making anyone feel uncomfortable. Just tell him that's how you feel, that it makes you uncomfortable, and that you don't want to have to bring it to your dad's attention, and that you hope he can respect you enough to close the door and to be dressed when wondering around the house.

My brother walked around with loose boxers like all day when I was that age. I pretty much just ignored him. Eventually people started making jokes about it and he put some pants on. If it really bothers you, I would try just making a joke out of it, like "Whoa, put some pants on!" or even get one of your friends to say it, if you don't want him to get mad at you.

Tell him to get dressed in the bathroom. Or everytime he takes a shower, make sure you are far enough away so you don't see it. I would find it gross to see my brother walk around naked.

Don't make a big deal out of it. Just tell him next time he does it "dude put some shorts on" and buy him a robe for Christmas. He'll get the point.

Just ignore it.He's your brother and you two are related so it's not such a big deal.If you don't want to, don't look.You could just nicely ask him to have a towel in hand while your around and he his naked.The loose boxers, well that's normal for guys that age.
