If you took the break that you're told to on the packet, then no, you should be safe.
I'm presuming the 7 day break was over your period?

No that's fine, there is about a 98% chance that you are pregnant if you are on a pill that is supposed to have a 7 day break then there is no more chance of getting pregnant then than what there would be when you were taking the pill
but if you have just stoped taking the pill or you forget for 7 days when you are supposed to take the pill you may be pregnant, but the chance in low if you were on your period or if it's just finished. xx

the 7 day placebo break that comes with the pack of pills? Those are designed to keep you regular about taking the pill, during the placebo week you dont take any hormones because your body needs to cleanse itself. It doesnt cause you to be fertile, its part of the brith control.
So long as you have been taking the pill for atleast three months, and taking it cnosistantly then its 97% effective at preventing pregnancy.
However according to usage its only 92% effective, and thats the high end. 1 in ever 100 women who take brith control pills for a year will become pregnant.
But so long as you take the pill regularly and at the same time everyday without pissing one, then you're well protected.

so you havent forgotten to take the pill or anything? as long as you have taken the full pill packet and then had your 7 day break and then started your next packet you should be fine. its only if you forget to take the pill that it is no as effective. you are protected the whole time you are taking the pill correctly even in your 7 day break (unless you are sick.....if this happens your not protected)
Hope this helps. But if you are unsure you should just speak to someone at a family planning clinic or a nurse to put your mind at rest.

It depends if the 7 day break was the intentional break you're supposed to have over your period or it was just missed pills on your part. Missed pills by accident mean your no longer protected.

i do not want to scare you but the pill is only 85% effective and if i can fall on it and i never missed a pill i am sure you could too make sure your partner wears a condom, they are 30% effective admittedly but its better to be safe then sorry your best form of protection is the IUD also known as a coil they are 99% effective lasts up to 5 yrs if you want to concieve before then the coil slips out when you pull on it and wiggle it side to side hard , it doesnt fall out easily and only is uncomfortable for 3 days , no sex for 3 days either but after that its safe

When you have your seven day break your still protected, as long as you continue the packet on time then you should be laughing. the doctor should explain this to you when he prescribes you the pill!!! If not just read your packet and it should answer some questions that you have!!!!
