I agree with you. They do not examine the patient at all because homeopathy treatment is based on symptomotology. With due respects to the doctors, if you are intelligent enough to read the Materia Medica by Borewick, you will know the symptoms better as you are the sufferer. And, you will find the appropriate medicine. Sometimes, it is necessary for the homeo doctor to have a glance at your reports. Are you sure that your thyroid levels are high. Though there is a medicine in homeopathy, viz., Thyroidium, I suggest you go in for allopathy tab which you should take daily one for life long. For, the disease is incurable but kept under control. Asthma: It should be diagnosed first. Reversible Airways Disease (Asthma), Tropical Isonophalia, Allergic Bronchitis, Cardaic Asthma, Upward gas will all show the same symptoms. To begin with, you may take Ars. Alb 200 (1 dr pills) if wheezing occurs. There are other medicines which will be decided depending upon what you say. Till such time, you may use Seriflo inhaler. One puff in the morning and one puff in the morning. Further, if you are in Hyderabad, I have a small suggestion to make to get your asthama cured. This may look weird but works. There is one herbal doctor in Yanjyala, near Tumkunta on Sidhipet road. He administered a potion of crushed leaves on Sundays and Thursdays. You should visit him at 7.00 a.m. with empty stomach and obtain a token. The doctor will visit at 9.00 a.m. and administer the potion whereafter you will have to eat idlies supplied their at cost. It progresses with age upto 17 - 18 yrs, but you can halt progression by using contact lenses. Alternately you could go for LASIK - laser surgery for permanant cure.

Only surgery, as lasik or radial keratotomy (which is basically the same format, but by laser) to my understanding.
