I am getting a bigger tank. 30H min or a 55gal. I want to keep my Angels (3), Plecos and my small tiger barb. I would like some color in the new tank. So what would you suggest?

While bala sharks and oscars are interesting fish, the oscar would grow large and eat or kill the other fish (they really need a tank of their own) and the bala sharks also grow to be about 11 inches long. You already have some fish that will get quite large... i'd stick to med sized community fish. you don't want ones small enough that they will become angel fish lunch, but you don't want ones that are going to get very big and create and over crouding issue! also, for the sake of your angels, try to avoid fish with a rep for being fin nippers! good luck!

Even at 55 g, with three angels and more than one pleco, you can't add too many more fish without overstocking. If you want colour, how about 4 green barbs, or 6 neon tetras, or 3-4 platies?

i could say you're totally stocked. secret snails super and that they could produce remarkable quantities of waste for a snail. Technically you ought to shop a Betta on my own in a 2.5gallon yet there is an possibility that it may consume your shrimp. i does not propose African Dwarf Frogs, they're social, so which you will prefer a minimum of two of them which might overstock your tank. As for novices: the smaller tanks are greater stable to maintain and greater stable to inventory. evaluate getting a greater tank. E.g. in a 20 gallon long you ought to shop a college of Tetras with a smaller centerpiece fish + ADFs, and your contemporary snails and shrimp.

My husband breeds Killifish, and he loves them. There are all colors, with all types of markings. You might check out the American Killifish Association for details, or look at aquabid.com for answers. They sell everything you could hope for regarding fish and aquariums, and they have a chatroom, so you could ask others in the hobby, too.
