If the company is aware of the situation, then they are as responsible as anyone else.
Anyone else, includes YOU and ME.
If we are aware of the situation and we continue to buy their products and support the company, then we are supporting their practices as well.

Wal-MArt in my opinion and many others is a sweatshop itself. My mother has been there for 8 years and do you think she gets the credit or PAY she deserves, No is the answer. They work you to hard and don't pay you enough. They always say " customer satifaction" but what about the employees who make the money buy serving the customers, and on top of it, I think the managers are in on a conspiracy, they drive around in Hummers and dont do a damn thing!

They don't run the sweatshops. They pressure all their suppliers to cut prices or lose contracts. Many suppliers have been forced out of business from running their prices so low that they can't pay their employees a living wage, pay their bills,etc.,,:-(=

thats a false dilemma question. Wal mart doesnt mfg anything, so it doesnt "run" sweatshops. Is it complicit in its suppliers running sweatshops? Who knows?

WalMart itself probably doesn't run sweatshops, but they probably do buy from companies who do run sweatshops.

Wal-mart needs to stay out of sensitive politics, like the gun control, and gay rights issues.
