No, I use to get a very nice Christmas bonus, then stupid me quit the job for something else.

Sadly no I have never worked anywhere I have gotten a Christmas bonus or a paid vacation for that matter.

Yes, it is based upon that years performance.

A range of 3 - 10 % of the annual salary. So 5% of 30,000 Salary is $1500. The $1500 check is taxed the luxury rate. -Ouch! It is a take home check around $850.00.

It is really nice to use for Holiday shopping.

No. My job doesn't give them. They don't even give out a turkey or ham. In fact, it's rare to even receive a Christmas card from the boss. That's not to say it isn't a rewarding place to work though, it's just that for whatever reason....they aren't very generous that way.

We get our bonus in January. About 8% of your pay.
