That's a lot of standing in line and sometimes rude people. I get to work and help the rude (and nice) people!

I did last year for the FIRST time ever and Target was a ZOO and I went straight home and locked my doors. I got a REAL bargain-a digital camera that was on sale and it stopped working in Feb for good! I will be straying home watching reruns of "Its a Wonderful Life." Never again!

I have never been shopping on black friday. I've always gotten up in the wee hours but that's so that I could be at work like you. It sucks.

YES, I will try at least. I am not a morning person, so it's going to be hard, but I am going to give it a try. Or maybe stay up all night until morning! I am not going to camp out there like the die-hards, but I will to the store before it opens...maybe. I'm sorry that you work in retail. I heard that the hardest industry to work for, next to restaurant (being a waitress/waiter, manager, etc.).

No. I believe that if you keep your eyes on the ads during the holiday season you will eventually find some good deals without having to go through the Black Friday exercise.
