if you're printer needs a USB2 port, and you only have a USB1.1, then that might be the problem. or maybe the cord is broken.

Click my computer, right. Left click disk manager. Look for + before Serial Bus Controller. Also reinstall drivers and software if no + present.

i think its an OS related problem.install the latest service pack or find out the appropriate patch from microsoft site and the problem will be solved
