I've been deducted 10 points for no reason. I can't see how any of my q's or a's could be seen as rude or offensive! Can anyone shed any light please?!

I am now totally convinced there is a glitch in the Y!A system. You are not the first to say this has happened this week. It has happened to me, too. It really irriatates me that our simple, fun questions get deleted and we get penalized but the jerk(s) on Monday got away with all that raunchy stuff! Think I will e-mail Yahoo my complaint!

It is possibly the 'may contain nuts' phrase.
I got hit for quoting from 'Catcher in the Rye' as an answer on (you've guessed it) ' Catcher in the Rye'

Good luck trying to understand this system... it would be easier to just forget about it and move on... there are many MANY racists questions out there that are only deleted when someone reports them and then the "reporter" is retaliated by the racist and so on....
IMO just move on and try to ignore what happens from time to time.... and ignore those bad questions from others... someone will retaliate against you...

It has happened to me. Don't know if I lost any points but my question wasn't in the list and didn't come up in searches even though it remained in my Q&A. I've answered your 2 questions like you asked.

I looked at your profile, but I wasn't able to see that any questions had been removed. Yahoo tightened up on this like chatting and other violations. It has gotten pretty ridiculous.
