There are very many, Arabs made great advances in learning, preserving the works of the Greeks and Romans, and building on them. Mathmatics, navigation, astronomy, medicine are just a few of the areas they woked in. America was discovered using navigation equipment invented by Arabs.
My favorite is the Arabic Numerals we all use every day. Some folks don't relize that our calandar comes from calculations using Roman Numerals. There is no year zero, because Roman Numerals don't have a zero. Not knowing this, some folks celebrated the millenium a year early. The zero was invented by the Arabs, zero is an Arabic word. Without the zero, none of us would have computers.

It is true that Americans have finally been brain washed into thinking "Arabs : BAD, Whites : GOOD" "Duh" By Bush and his cronies Ruport Murdoch etc using television. Is it a coincidence that US viewers are shown a totally different CNN to the rest of the world, NO. Is it a coinsidence that Pearl Harbour 3000+ deaths started World War 2 and World trade center 3000+ deaths started World War 3. Its as if Bin Laden picked just the right amount of bait to get the dumb americans to shout "USA USA with their Monkey leader at Ground Zero" and head off shooting with out thinking, while Charlton Heston Cried "NO NO what have you dumb animals done at the Statue of Liberty" ie real life (Planet of the Apes) How stupid can you get, read Marcus Orillius, Control The Stupid Mob and you have the power. Americans Wake Up!!!!

Muslims are responsible for much of the knowledge we have that has reached us from before the Renaissance. During the Dark Ages, most of Europe's written history was lost- there were few books. No one could read or write, except for those affiliated with the Church (and then they only kept the books around that supported their views). Because the Islamic religion insists that religious art cannot have the human figure in it, most Muslims are literate (in Christianity, frescoes and the like decorating the churches served as an illiterate person's Bible). They kept written works from ancient times- like the Greeks and Romans- and reintroduced them into Europe. Essentially, they made sure we're as advanced in many fields as we are.
