babes you really need to see the doc about this one...doctors have seen more bums than george michael and elton john put together(no pun intended) and really has no interest in looking at your **** and thinking omg look at that...it's gross...doctors do not think like that...u need to wear cotton undies and when you go for a poop wash with water or sensitive skin baby wipes..not loo roll...could be any number of things and noone can make a diagnosis over yahoo answers...only a doc can do that..in person so to speak..if one of your concerns is that your doc is one you have known for years and sees the rest of your family try going to a walk in centre or an emergency department..if you leave it you will be doing more than itching...and it is not that gross...think of what is involved in giving birth...once i had my kid i had no inhibitions about anything...we are simply a collection of molecules and only a doc can put the misfiring bumhole molecules right...you know deep down what you must do...just need a kick up the ****...but ouch...that would really hurt....SEE A DOCTOR...NOW!!!!...go on..be brave....you have to be..its your health...do not take risks just cos you may blush...if you are worried you wont be able to say it when you see the doc...well write it down...tell them...good luck and try not to scratch it too much

worms. found this bit of info on pinworms." Pinworms are extremely common. It is estimated that there are more than 40 million cases in the United States each year. Although anyone can catch pinworms, they are most common in children aged 5-14 years. Pinworms live in your intestines and survive by eating some of the nutrients in your food. The most common symptom of pinworms is an itchy rectal area. Symptoms are worse at night when the worms are most active and crawl out of the anus to deposit their eggs. Although pinworm infections can be annoying, they do not cause any serious health problems and are usually not dangerous."

Are you cleaning it properly? Do so, with clean, cool water everytime you go to the loo and maintain personal hygeine.
There are normally few limited basic reasons for the typpa problem you have:
1. poor personal hygiene- improper cleaning of the anal region
2. Cleaning the anal region with warm water
3. unclean under garments
4. Too oily, over cooked food
5. Low fibers and greens in diet
6. Blood dis-orders
7. Stomach dis-orders
8. Worms
9. malady called fissure- the skin in the anal region cracks up
Dont be shy and consult your doctor immediate before it's too late.
In case the problem is not attended to, it may develop into fissure/ piles et al

Take a shower every 2-3 days. Change underwears daily. After going to the bathroom, wash it off instead of wiping it off.
