What sort of 'experiments' is your son exactly doing and how old is he?? Do the pets suffer at the hands of these experiments? Do they seem to object? Is your son learning anything valuable from this....does he have a healthy respect for the pets? As to whether he becomes a vet or not...who knows...just hope he is not harming your pets thats all..

I would be seriously worried if I were you. If his experiments are not in the best interests of the pets, then something is very wrong with your son.
I was talking about this with a few friends on mine a while ago, asking what we would do if our child did things to animals....lets just say we would be very very scared - most serial killers start out this way. Get your son to a doctor now!

Not necesarily but most mass murderers experimented on pets before they decided to experiment on humans. Its a detachment thing they see pets and later humans as objects not live beings. I'd seriously consider taking him to see a child shrink and find out exactly why he is doing it.

I don't know what you mean by experimenting, but it sounds really wrong, keep the kid away from the animals, let him experiment on you instead and see how you like it, maybe he will become a doctor...

Vets aren't paid near as well as brain doctors and heart doctors. I'm sure you want him to be a success in life, so let him experiment on you.

experimenting like what? Using laser pointers in the dog's eyes? Trying to bend their joints the other ways?
Experimenting reminds me of nazi's doing horrible things.

Unless you mean some sort of harmless, well intentioned experiment that I can't think of, you need to teach your son to respect animals. For their sake, and for his (because if an animal feels threatened enough, they can and will bite/scratch to defend themselves).

What kind of experiments? Please make sure he does not hurt them or make them uncomfortable!! Otherwise if not, tell him to go for being a vet, later when he's had proper schooling.
