Amusing to whom?

Because they feel like it and because they can. Nothing wrong with being joyful and having fun in the shower. Why must everything be dull and serious? The echo is often better in the bathroom than in other rooms too, which I guess is why people are more likely to sing in there than anywhere else (it makes them sound better than elsewhere). Maybe some people think that nobody can hear them, so they're not embarrassed to be heard.
Personally I don't sing if anyone can hear me (including myself!). I don't mind other people singing though. If they sound nice I can share their joy. If they sounds bad at least I can have a good giggle. :) If I can't bear listening to them I can always put on some music.

It's fun and amusing.... It's amusing to me.... I sing in the shower... And besides... If you really like singing, then who cares what other people think...
