Heaters that "burn" something also use oxygen can, if used improperly, produce carbon monoxide. Make certain that any heater you use is installed and used properly which means according to the directions. No problem. On the other hand, if you're going to heat the place after you get boozed up or on drugs, you can burn the place down or kill yourself very easily. Then, it's better to freeze.

Buy an electric Heat Pump, no gases at all with them and they can be vented through your home, act as heaters in winter and Air conditioners in summer mths.
