I'm confused - so you're outside of the US calling a Verizon cell phone in Louisiana, correct?
If that's the case, you would dial the international code, country code and their number - it'd look something like this:
011+01+xxx-xxx-xxxx

dial the country code and the number just like you would anywhere else..be prepared to pay dearly..best to call from your land line cheaper..Good Luck

did you try using your cell and dialin *611. that is how i alway contact verizon.
