Today I saw a mug shot of Tawny Kitaen, the girl that appeared in some Whitesnake videos. A paralyzing wave of emotion washed out through my eyes. A momentary beast of desperation roared in pain inside of my stomach. All those days, long gone now. Did they really exist? Did this chick really dance on top of a sports car in a music video? Wasn't she the hottest thing?

Invisible demons slightly tugged at my entrails, as if wanting to point out something. I would have cried, but unfortunately tears don't come to me easily, so I just let my eyes water a bit and moved on to something else.

How about you all?

Ahhhhh the 80's it was the days of funk and passion. I would say that the peak of the 80's was when Madonna's like a prayer album came out, now that was an awesome and nostalgic time we will never forget.

One thing is for sure, the mega bands today was born from the 80's no matter how many people critisize the era, it left a mark on Pop music for future generations to enjoy.

Hugest fan of the 80's, great, decently written songs (none of that one line sung over a euro-dance beat thing-yuk), great fashion, fantastic Prime Minister. Further to the person who said there's an 80's revival underway, er hello, has been for the past 10 years and we are already into a 90's revival. Oasis and Take That releasing new stuff and Vogue's hottest trends list sighting Acid House and Grunge as the latest revivals? We're back to those boredom days again. Lord help us! Blimey I miss the 80's

The 80's were almost to the point of being a sensory overload in just being there and having experienced it.

Disco dancing at Good Time Bobby's in Evansville Indiana to the Village People, Macho Man, YMCA . . .and Alisa Bridges, I love the nightlife, . . . .and too many more to mention.

Boz Skaggs, Alan Parsons Project, Duran Duran, and on and on.

Video arcades, . . . . . . .Dragons Lair, Omega Race, to name a few.

The women were all special. If I wasn't in Love, I was just getting over one or starting to fall in love again. Man, I been thru some women, or they been thru me, or maybe both.

If time travel were a reality, you all could kiss my a s s goodbye as I would return to the 80's and spend eternity, never wanting to return. I may re-watch the DVD " Somewhere in time "(An 80's hit) and see if I can figure out how he did it. Christopher Reeve & Jane Seymour (He sacrificed life in the present . . . to find love in the past.)

Your question just managed to get my eyes a little watery.

Outstanding question, thanks for rekindling some awesome memory's.

Nostalgia for the 80's? That's certifiable isn't it? Anyway, the way fashion's going, I think we're headed back there.
