Yes cats do have brains - and yes that brain is located in the cat's head. Most animals do, there are some exceptions like single celled protozoans and the hydra - and even the hydra has a primative nerve network. For the most part if it's not a plant and it's as big or bigger than a dust mite - it probably has a brain - almost without exception the brain is in the 'head' part of the anatomy even in an earthworm - there is one end that has the "head" and mouth parts...

Of course they do and of course it is in their heads. All mammals have brains. Even insects have nerve ganglia that allow them to resond to specific stimuli. Only microscopic organisms have no central nervous system

actually yes, if you stick your index finger in the cats anus, and swish it around, you can actually feel it's brain. See, cats' brain are located in their hip and if you stimulate their brain, they will meow. I do it all the time!

no and if you scrtch them right by there tails they raise there butts because that is were there brain in and you are stimulating it
