I think its hard to be one. I had my first child a month after I turned 18. With only a semester of school left it was still hard. I cannot imagine being a mom in middle school (although I heard of it happening when I was that age). Love that baby. Love your husband. And try really hard to work out problems so you don't divorce. Life will be hard, but its not over.

The first question that comes to mind is..... where do you live? I can't see any state in the United States allowing a 13 and a 14 year old to marry.

The next question is..... WTF is wrong with your parents that they let you get married?

You are just children yourself and have now really screwed up our lives. I know it's fun to have sex and all, but now you are tied down to a child and will not be able to do the things that teenagers are supposed to be able to do. You know, LIke have fun, go to the mall with your friends, obsess over boys.

I have nothing against teen moms (I was one myself), what I have a problem with is those moms who are too young. There is a world of difference in the minds and bodies between the ages of 13 and 17. The maturity level is just not what is should be at 13.

I hope things go well for you raising your daughter and may your life not end up being the drudge that statistics say it will be.

I can't say either way,I have met some teenage mothers that are much more Responsible than 30 year olds I know..

I have known teen mothers that Go to school,Work part time and still have time to take care of their Children...

Then Some 30 year olds that go out and party every night, While their Parents watch their Kids..

I think it fully depends on the person.

Well, you can't get married that young by me. Anyway, I think 13 is too young, but if you really want a baby in your teens, try nineteen or eighteen. I'd suggest having a baby in your 20's or thirties. This is my last year of college, and I plan on getting married to my fiance in the summer, because I have off from work and I graduate. I also want to have a baby, but not in the same year!

WTF, where on earth do you live that would let children marry?
i was a teen mum and i think that we can make good parents but your a baby mum barely a teen, where the hell are your parents?
do you really believe you will be with your ( i cant believe I'm typing) husband forever?
FFS how could you possibly raise a baby together at such a young age?
you have wasted your life, and its your child i feel sorry for, my kids get bored with their toys so quick what happens when you get bored of the baby and realise they are hard work and not living dolls?
OMG plz tel us this is a sick joke

Well, when I was a new mom I had no time to be on the computer. I was really busy trying to manage the baby and my husband and my household.

Teen moms hang out on Answers.

i think 13 is a little to young but hey if your old enough to spread your legs that young then your old enough for the responsibility that comes along with it ....heck i had my fist when i was 17 (almost 18) and now I'm on my 2ND at 19 and working on my 3rd so my true opinion is that i think your to young but hey everything happens for a reason just remember that and congrats on the baby and good luck girl your gonna need it

it kind of makes me sad......to think of everything that you will be missing out on in your lives.....i am a mother of two boys and waited till i was 23 and it was still really hard at that age....i am impressed that you two decided to stay together and raise your daughter, that is awsome!!!!! just make sure that you involve God in your lives, because he will be able to help all of you more than you will ever imagine!!! You will be in my prayers tonight!!!

i think very highly of teen moms because they're taking care of themselves and a baby too. and i know that that's not easy to do. alot of teen moms are doing all of that and still going to school. i don't look down on teens who choose to have kids early because they choose to let their babies live instead of killing them.
