The American dream is having the chance to accomplish what you can. Work and see the fruit of your work. In other countries you work like a mule but just to barely make it.

It's an imaginary model of a well-off happy household type that used to counter the cold war communism trend. It certainly depicts US as a land of equal opportunities and such crap!!!
