SOHC to DOHC 3000gt?

Ok i have a 94 mitsubishi 3000gt 24 valve dohc but the bottom half is bad so my question is can I take a sohc of the same family and put my dohc heads on it anyone ever attempted it any conversions neccessery? any info would be appreciated

Most likely the bottom or short blocks are the sameHowever the only safe way to know is buy the book and study the differences. Have a fun day.
