I am so appauld that Rosie O'Donnell would go on the View and attack Kelly Ripa for what she said to Clay Aiken on the regis and kelly show the other day. I wish O'Donnell would stop makinf herself the expert on who is homophobic. Kelly Ripa was bold and brave to defend herself and I'm glad she did. O'Donnell's constant gay rights speeches on the View are getting on my nerves. How many feel the same way?

I don't agree with you 100%, I agree with you 1000%.

Rosie O'Donnell is self-centered and is only interested in keeping her name in the newspapers. For years, Rosie shunned the gay community and denied she was gay. Now all of the sudden she is the card-carrying flag wearer. I'm glad most of the gay community doesn't buy into what she says either.

BTW... when I first heard Kelly's comment, the thought of "GERMS" not "GAY" came to mind.

Outing Clay and accusing Kelly of being a homophobe. WRONG ROSIE WRONG WRONG WRONG

Whether you agree with gay lifestyles or not, it is not her place to tell someone else's story. What if Clay is NOT gay? Then what? Why would Ms. Gay Rights break one of the biggest rules by outing someone else? Especially when he never said he was in to begin with.

Secondly, Kelly, brat she may be, but homophobic? Nawwwwww. Been watching her since she came on and although she is getting a little bitchy and bratty, she is not homophobic. She is germophobic. So am I. When Clay covered her mouth, I gasped! Some people think that is a filthy thing to do and I am one of them and Kelly probably is too. Thats why she reacted so strongly. But then she said she is so over it. Rosie picked it up from there.

Rosie just took a situation she had nothing to do with and made herself look irresponsible and silly. I think she should apologize to Kelly and to Clay for putting fuel on a fire that was out and twisting it so that she can shoot her mouth off about her own issues.

Star was bad, Rosie is worse.

Normally, I do not watch the view, however, yesterday, I happened to watch it. And I also was appalled and dismayed by Rosie O'Donnell' words to Kelly Ripa. What Clay Aiken did was wrong from a human respect stand point. As a child most do and all should learn not to put your hands in other people faces. That was rude and wrong. I do not understand what being gay has to do with it. That is like saying being gay means having no manners, or people skills. I do not find Kelly Ripa to be homophobic, just upset by the gesture of having a hand placed in her face as to tell her to shut up! Very rude and he needs to apologize. Perhaps it is something going on in the air over there with celebrities. Look at the man from Seinfeld, appalling. People have lost all respect for other humans and it is very sad and dis hearting. Have a great Thanksgiving, God bless****

I could care less... I don't watch The View - but I do understand what you mean. Rosie, despite all the good things she does for gay rights and equality, can be a little annoying sometimes.

I agree, especially because the comment clearly is not homophobic. I don't know what Barbara Walters and others were thinking when they hired Rosie. I no longer watch The View because Rosie is on the show.

heres the deal..i could care less for both kelly and rosie..but i have to say i have given new respect to kelly for calling in and setting it straight to rosie..see rosie get all scared and tight lipped...too funny. to me it seems like Rosie outted Clay herself..hell he doesnt need to come out and admit he's gay, she's done that for him. everything that comes out of everyone elses' mouth doesnt make it homophobic. damn,,she acts like she owns a Bachalor , Masters..PHD in Gay-ism. give me a break. i dont see her on the show for too much longer.

Rosie is always just looking for a fight. I cringed when I heard she was joining the View. I knew that was a BAD IDEA!!!! She just tends to take charge and take over.

She has a chip on her shoulder and doesn't seem to have much to say unless it is gay related.

That is one of the problems with the States today. Groups of people want special rights. Whether it's gay, race, religion and such. There is no WE anymore, it's ME. That is the problem. It's U.S. for the UNITED States, not M.E.

Kelly was bold and brave to defend herself against what? Clay wasn't trying to rape her. He's a nice guy and he was teasing her. If Kelly can't joke around on that type of show, they need to get snooty Kathie Lee back. I like Kelly but fame seems to changing her.

Rosie definitely over-reacted. It only makes her look bad, and doesn't further her "cause".
