All fuel brands are the same. What changes their quality or properties is the additives that the individual companies put into their fuels as cleaning agents.

Stick to any major brand and you will do fine. Also, don't fill up at Shell one day and then when your half empty fill up at BP. The individual additives in the fuels might not get along and cause your car to run rough.

Pick a brand and use it continuously. Good luck with your new wheels.

Diesel is a commodity. The tankers that unload at your guest station are filled from the same facility. While suppliers try to differentiate their products from one another, there is scant evidence that it makes much of a difference, especially when the price of the fuel is taken into consideration.

Your main concern should be the condition of the tank underneath your filling station. If groundwater is leaking into it, the fuel will be affected.
