The Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador ~ I've always been fascinated by them because the oldest tortoises in the world live there, and because they are where Charles Darwin did a lot of studying, leading to his theory of evolution, because of the diversity of the species there :)

My first tip for a cheap stay in New York is not to stay in New York! Choice a hotel in New jersey, or by the Newark Airport. Booking these hotels is much cheaper on line, and you can reach Manhattan by ferry, bus or subway within 15 minutes. It is a big save, I am sure. Another tip: avoid Times Square, it seemed to me so obsolete! It doesn’t worth to be visited anymore, in my humble opinion. But don’t avoid anymore the subway, is much safer than in the 80’s! Actually, all the City of New York is much safer, the crime rate diminished considerably and is nowadays comparable with any small town in the United States. Besides, the subway is even safer than the rest of the city, and is very cheap ( providing you got the right card, tailored to your needs!).

Actually, I'd want to go AWAY from everybody if I had a yacht. Maybe Gilligan's Island... seems clean & able to support life.

Probably Mauritius. I think it's absolutely lovely there and one of my favorite memories ever is in that place...

And of course, i'd have to explore the Bermuda Triangle :P i want to be the only one that survives that whirlwind/tripod of death.

Yes, i realize it's not an island.

Margaritaville. (wait is that an island?) lol....because everytime I hear that song by Jimmy Buffet I feel instantly relaxed. If I was actually *there* that would be sweet...
