The best thing is to inquire at you hotel or search the net. Be assured there is LOTS to see and do in Mexico City. The Zona Rosa used to be the place to go for clubs and bars but I hear that it has been taken over by gay bars and table-dance places. The downtown areas of Condessa, Roma and Polanco are said to be full of great places and a growing area is right in the heart of downtown the "Zocalo."
Right across the street from the beautiful palace of Bellas Artes, one can find the famous La Opera bar with its turn of the century elegance, its huge famous mahogany bar and the bullet hole which Pancho Villa put in the celing to commemorate his visit during the Revolution. There are also the wonderful bars around the famous Garabaldi Plaza where the hundreds of Mariachis gather each night to offer their music for hire.
You will probebly not find a city as full of museums outside of Europe so its really "take your pick," your hotel will provide lists and information. When it comes to arqueological sites, you have so many historical places all round the city itself, but of course about an hour's drive to the north-east you will find Teotihuacan, simply known to most as "the Pyramids." It is truly a stunning visit and so much has been improved with models and maps of the original site, that one should pretty much make it a whole day's effort.
Don't forget to visit the wonderful garden city of Xochimilco (So-chee-MIL-co) where one can rent one of the famous gondolas and pass through the ancient canals taking lunch, snacks, sipping a beer and listening to the floating mariachis, jorochos and trios as they accompany you along the canals.
Oh and like "Diva" said above, you shouldn't miss Coyoacan.....
(After four days, you will probably leave us with a huge list of things you DIDN'T get to do and you will need to come back.........)

Take the Turibus (two decker bus) that runs from the Auditorio Nacional in Chapultepec Park and has several routes around interesting places in the city. That way you can see the parks, museums, churches, historical buildings, restaurants, shopping areas, etc., and decide where to go. If you go in the top deck, bring sunscreen and a wide brim hat!
Don't miss Coyoacan neighborhood in southern Mexico city.
Have fun!

For Bars and Disco you should go to; Cancun , Acapulco , Cabo San Lucas , and Puerto Vallarta. All these cities are wonderful and not very expensive. From the ones I mentioned, the most expensive cities could be Cancun and Acapulco
