I had Sky installed on Monday and because their customer service is rubbish I am going to cancel. I have 8 days to cancel under the cooling off period but they may charge for uplifting the equipment. Does anyone know how much this is?

I just cancelled from SKY too just the other day which doesnt come into effect until mid december *roll eyes* and they plan on taking one more payment *sigh*

I think I read somewhere about 100 pounds having to be paid up for something dunno if it is cancellation fee.

Yes Sky is a rip off customer service is crappy, for months my set box been making a high pitched squeeking sound making viewing annoying rather than pleasurable, and it all started when I couldnt afford the cover or whatever that u get free for a year. But like one mentioned, I doubt the other services are any better and I might have to jon them again in the future.

Your best bet is to call them and ask str8 up, or better yet check their website or do a search coz the phone lines all automated these days. But use the phone if the site doesnt help. Hope I helped ya a bit!

I've had Sky for many many years, never really had a problem, customer services is bad, but if you get a half sensible consultant then they are very quick to get your problem sorted.

I would say stay with them, the alternative is cable and they are complete rubbish.

no sorry but we had trouble with sky too, they have just phoned us to say we owe 133 pound, we have not had sky for over 3 years, & we were paid up to date !!!!!!!!!!
