With sales, it's all about numbers, how many you sold, the $ amount, how many referrals, how much commission you made, did you receive any awards, what do people say about you (good stuff I hope). Good luck.

'They will almost always hire someone new in that line of profession to keep older workers out of a job it's called budget cutting the practice of numbers crunchers come in and say if you let go of these employees that are getting higher pay due to raises over time working at the dealership and hire a new person at a lower wage the company makes more money!i'm almost sure you'll get the job,it's your sale's quota you should be concerned with!selling car's is the bottom line! That's all the dealership is interested in they have to make a profit to stay afloat i hope this information is somehow useful too you!Good luck&have fun!!!

in the interview expect them to give you a roleplay, where you will play the role of a salesperson and the interviewer will be a potential customer. a good salesperson will engage a potential customer in conversation. They will then ask the customer questions leading up to selling the product of service that they are selling. speak of the benefits of the product and why it is ideal. make sure you don't speak over a customer who is asking questions and allow them to have their say. always be prepared and know your product thoroughly.

Make sure you know the product you are going to sell...for example why would a costumer want to up buy a Camry instead of a Corolla

to sell something you first explain the features (eg 5-door, GTI, low mileage) and then the benefits (5-door- lots of room for family, GTI- fast, low mileage- low maintenance)
To find out what kind of features/benefits the customer is looking for you need to ask open questions: what did you have in mind? what kind of budget do you have? who will be using the car? do you have a big family etc etc
