Not at all. If you are thinking of a new car, the design changes on Jan.1. Based on what I heard from the Mini salesman in June, Mini is appealing to the younger market with this new design. I heard something about technology and lights -- but have no idea what he was hinting at. That said, if you want a new Mini but want to see the revision first (to know you don't want it instead) wait. I should think the old design will get really cheap when the new one starts showing up in showrooms. Of course, that assumes the new design is better than the old one, and the old one is pretty hot.

Ever since they came out in the late 50's the "mini" cars from England have been driven by both sexes and almost from the start became a fashion symbol and also a statement. Been driven by almost all the famous folk from there including fashion models, rock stars, writers, politicians, and basically anybody that wanted to state that you don't need a giant car to prove who you are, all the while getting great gas mileage and driving a car that is fun as hell to drive. Yes indeed get you one if that is what you want. Add to that many of the commercials for Mini's over the years have featured girls driving as well. Remember that the Mini is the car, and the "Cooper" is simply the higher performance model. You can get it cheaper as a standard Mini if budget doesn't permit the higher priced "Cooper" model.

It depends on which model year you get. I am looking to buy a 1959 848cc Mini with a 1275GT Cooper engine in it. I don't like the new BMW-MINI's very much. I prefer the original Mini's because they are British.

Not necessarily, although they have that bit of a feminine look I think generally they are meant for the younger generation (All sexes) ages 17-25

Go for it, I just bought a brand new car, its the most exciting thing. Go for what you wanna drive when you can afford it

Cars don't have penises or vaginas. They don't care who drives them.

And there's nothing wrong with driving a chick-car, if it gets them looking in your direction.
