Are Arsenal just a one man team? Is it fair to say that the media and footballing world believe that the sun shines out of Thierry Henry's backside?
(Cesc Fabregas is fairly good). But without Thierry would they just be an average mid table side??????

He started as sub against Newcastle at the weekend, at half time Arsenal were losing 1-0 so he is brought on. The game finished 1-1 with him scoring.

A one man team. How do you say that about a team branded the best 'passing' side in the world. They play flowing football from player to player. Every player has a different function, and every team has to have a striker- Arsenal just have a damn good one. Of course Arsenal wouldn't be as good without Henry (he's amazing)- but he's part of the Arsenal team. If a team loses their best player- they're not as good any more. So what are you saying?? It's not cheating to have an outstanding striker.

Arsenal are not like any other football team. They play beautiful football and this is only possible because every team member plays their part. It is true that Henry is an outstanding striker, but he is not the only player to score goals by a long way. I think Henry plays a much more important role in the Arsenal team than just a striker and when he is on the pitch the opposition know he is capable of incredible stuff and they are automatically more defensive. He has an almost unrivalled presence on the pitch.
Arsenal is like a temperamental beast and when they play well they are just amazing, but like any creative being they have their little tantrums and they can play some shocking football. Henry keeps them all together and I think it would be fair to say the media thinks the sun shines out of his behind - and they'd be right!

NO, I don't think that Arsenal is a one man team at all. They have awesome players in it, not just Thierry Henry alone and they work together really well too. Arsenal have also won games without Henry in the squad as well.

How can you say they are a 1 man team. They have several world class players. Fabregas, Toure, Ljungberg, Gilberto etc. With or without Henry, Arsenal would still be a top 4 team in England.

Arsenal are not a one man team, any team would miss the the best player in the world. Last night he was on the pitch (not at his best) but Walcott changed the game. They have some really good and talented players, who play as a team.

Henry is undoubtedly one of the best palyers in the world..so ANY team would miss him if he wasnt playing.
Arsenal are a good team anyway, but its true that they look much better with Henry in the side.

You could ay the same about Gerrard and Liverpool, Lampard and Chelsea and Rooney (used to be Beckham) and Man Utd.
Theres always 1 player whom is considered the best at a club and the media will always big them up.
