Yeah I know what you mean. That stylised walk (one foot going directly in front of the other) I'd feel like I was going to trip if I tried to do it!

Funnily enough I was only thinking that last night as there is an advert with them marching up and down the catwalk. Can't remember what the advert was for though but they wouldn't look out of place in the 'Ministry for Silly Walks' in my opinion. I'd get some very odd looks if I walked about the supermarket like that!!

I agree - personally I would prefer to see a more average looking person walking gracefully but not in an exaggerated way, and wearing something that average folk might wear. I also HATE the trendy fashion photos in mags that hardly show the clothes at all, and have captions which cheerfully give the prices at hundreds of pounds - as if!

It's not really supposed to look normal... The whole idea is drama. Also, models are hired to be clothes racks, they all walk the same because if they all got to do their own thing- it would definitely take away from the clothing- in which case they likely would not get paid. Just try listening to the music and watching the legs, I think it's pretty neat.

It is seriously an entertainment show, designers know that these types of outfits would not sell on the open market. as well as the normal female form not fitting into them. Designers consider a size 5/6 plus sized!

Those mincy, posturing bimbos (male and female) wouldn't last a minute in Glasgow without being smacked in their collagen mouths.
Yes, they are ridiculous.
