It does. I work in a theatre in the West End. I used to get all jumpy and excited if I saw a celeb anywhere. Now I couldn't give a toss. They're just people doing a job. There are now very few stars on the planet that could render me speechless.

Oh yes. I'm an E911 operator and don't even bat an eye when people call in injured from a domestic or fight. Car wrecks have me looking at the pictures in interest, not horror. I also have absolutely no patience for anyone that is panicky now.

Yea I work in a hospital watching the monitors, I see entirely too many sick people to have any sympathy for my husband when he gets a cold! Sad .. I know.

Mine desensitizes me to policies and procedures....there are none here, which drives me NUTS! But I just go with it sometimes, and somehow they love me anyway....I still get my work done, after all :)
