C#min is E and A strings open, 2nd fret on D string, 1st fret on G string, 2nd fret on B, high E is open
F#min is E string second fret, A string 4th fret, D string 4th fret, G string 2nd fret, B string 2nd fret ,and high E 2nd fret !

C#m is - on the fourth fret cover the whole board with your first finger, because it is a bar chord. then, finger on 5th string on 5th fret, and 3rd and 4th strings on the 6th fret.

F#m - whole first finger on all strings on 2nd fret, and cover 2nd and 3rd strings on 4th fret!

The x means you don't please that string eg for A major you only play the bottom 5 strings leaving out the top 6th string (Low E string). I have never heard of a diamond shape though
